Twice Sheared Sheep Planner Review
Twice Sheared Sheep is creating beautiful tools specifically for knitters and crocheters. After popping into the Twice Sheared Sheep booth at h+h americas, I found a maker planner and bag that immediately caught my attention.
Let’s deep dive: TSS’s floral project journal planner is for knitters and crocheters (if you want to TLDR it you can tap here to get it in your cart) designed for practical organization. It includes 12 project pocket dividers, 12 clear page protectors, and 24 sheets of dot grid and graph paper.
With sections for recording project details, storing gauge swatches and yarn samples, plus an easel conversion, this planner pitches aesthetic appeal and design functionality.
Our wips can be complex and multifaceted and it’s important to have good tools that keep us inspired and on track, and this is a major upgrade from scattered unnamed notes in my phone.
The design gives visual appeal reflecting a creative vibrant lifestyle for fellow makers that love a floral planner, or cute blue chubby sheeps.
The six-ring bind A5-sized is portable with a secure binder (love the elastic strap to keep the planner closed and as a bookmark) for easy page addition or removal. This planner is perfect for my Cautiva Tee (my current pattern in grading and testing in Cautiva by Wooldreamers). The thick paper quality prevents pen bleed-through and with a lifetime guarantee, I can confidently garment design with this planner.
I tested the easel mode and here’s how to use it: just place a pattern in the page protector, bend the two journal cover halves backward, snap to hold in place, stand the journal upwards, position the elastic band just above the lines of a pattern (moving the band down to stay on track) and voila easel mode. So good, so easy, and I give this special feature 10 out of 10.

This is a thoughtfully designed, high-quality bag offering craft value and planner pairs beautifully.
It’s giving aesthetically pleasing (love this chubby sheep one) and functional with a durable and lightweight cotton canvas upper, and sophisticated vegan leather bottom.
Measuring14 inches in length, 7 inches in height, and 6.5 inches in depth, it offers ample space for small wips and pretty yarn.
The top zipper closure is high-quality and the exterior zippered pocket is great to store stitch markers and other notions. I love the 5-inch practical wrist loop to put my yarn in and go.
Final review: Buy it. At 35.00 usd, this is also a worthwhile maker investment to secure your bag whether you’re a maker hobbyist or design for work.
