Northknits Statement of Solidarity:
As the founder of Northknits, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the nationwide actions taking place today and this weekend in response to recent immigration enforcement actions and deadly incidents involving federal agents. Across the United States, people are participating in protests and calls for a national strike, urging “no work, no school, no shopping” to demand accountability and support for affected communities. These demonstrations reflect deep concern and collective grief sparked by the deaths of community members and the broader impacts of enforcement policies on families and neighborhoods.

To stand in solidarity, I have closed the Northknits shop until Monday, Feb 02, honoring the call to pause and reflect on these critical issues.
